Yuji Okumoto
Yuji is the owner and operator of the Hawaiian restaurant, Kona Kitchen, situated in Seattle’s Maple Leaf neighborhood. Beyond his role in the restaurant industry, Yuji is also actively engaged in the world of acting and production. A glance at his IMDb profile showcases his acting credits in notable productions such as "The Karate Kid Part II", “Inception”, “Johnny Tsunami” and the Netflix series "Cobra Kai," where he portrays the character Chozen Toguchi.
Liz's love and guidance played a crucial role in Yuji's journey. Thanks to her support, he successfully founded Kona Kitchen, and the restaurant wouldn't be the thriving establishment it is today without her invaluable contributions.
Angie Okumoto
Angie, not only the daughter of Liz Mar and wife of Yuji but also a co-owner of Kona Kitchen, has played a significant role in shaping the experience at the restaurant. Her efforts have been instrumental in creating a relaxed, family-oriented atmosphere at Kona Kitchen, attracting a substantial number of loyal patrons. Through her dedication, the restaurant has become a place where many customers feel a sense of belonging and camaraderie. Angie's contributions have even extended to fostering connections, as several individuals have discovered love within the warm embrace of this local Hawaiian establishment, truly making them a part of the Ohana (family).
