MAUI FRESH STREATERY

Spreading Ohana from Seattle to Maui

December 2023

We've been actively seeking ways to aid Maui Relief since the spread of the Hurricane Dora fire. Fortunately, through the assistance of our family friends Randie and Jeremy Ota (Maui locals), we connected with Kyle Kawakami from Maui Fresh Streatery. Kyle facilitated our contribution to support the creation of chef boxes for families. Each chef box includes enough food ingredients to prepare three meals a day for about four days, feeding up to 10 people. We are deeply grateful for Kyle's guidance in showcasing community initiatives and offering insights on how we could contribute. His support means a lot to us.

MAUI FRESH STREATERY

Kyle has been actively providing meals and assistance for the Maui community, especially during the challenges posed by COVID-19. Maui Fresh Streatery, under his leadership, was among the first food service businesses to implement safety measures to curb the spread of the disease. Over time, Kyle and the food truck have transformed into a central hub for the community, serving as a platform for locals to contribute to various causes. Kyle consistently explores innovative ways in which the business and the food truck can best serve and aid the community.

His commitment extends to supporting initiatives such as feeding the homeless, providing meals for those affected by COVID-19 and the Maui fire. To further support Kyle and his mission, consider following his Facebook page to stay updated on ongoing efforts and discover how you can contribute to the community.
